Hillary's Campaign begins

Now we'll see how Hillary will begin to redefine herself. I guarantee that she will redefine herself by taking conservative stances on the most important of issues. These include defense, the war against terrorism, and perhaps even fiscal issues. Why would she do this? Because she is the most schrewd of politicians the United States have ever seen and if she's learned anything in her time as an elected official it is that the American people are by and large conservatives. I'll make the prediction now that there is no way that she can win because of her iffy past. Much like the past that Kerry tried to cover up as evidenced by the clever marketing campaign that he ran in the last 6 months of the 2004 election to redefine himself and hide from the policies he supported over the last 2 decades as a US senator. Hillary will probably figgure that if she spends the next four years redefining herself she'll shore up a bit more credibility. The only real albatros in her way is her Senate reelection campaign in 2006... that is if she decides to run. I would not be suprised to see her bow out of that race because of the problems it may present to her Presidential campaign should she lose to someone like Gulianni. Naturally this decision will be spun every which way possible to shed her in a magnanimous light and portray her as taking the 'high road'.

It'll be a truly interesting political maneuver to watch take place. The question now remains... who on the Republican ticket will take her on? Hmmm... there is still much up in the air... What do you think?
