The "Hate Crime" Double Standard

Isn't it amazing how the mainstream media is so quick to jump on any racially based crimes when it's a white perp commiting the crime on a minority? Yet, when it's the other way around, there is hardly the faintest of whispers. The story of the Hmong immigrant in Wisconsin being held for the killing of 6 (and injuring of 2) white hunters on private property owned by one of the dead men has sparked nary a glance by the snotty media elites despite being a week old story.

Naturally with the influence of the 'new' media such as talk radio and the bloggers who are going to naturally be all over this story, the mainstream media will eventually have to cover it whether they like it or not. Even some of the local talk radio stations are being extremely cautious about the story already.

It'll be interesting to see how defensive they will be of the perp right out of the starting gates. Naturally they'll take the stance that it is because of the fear that there will be incitement of hatred and violence against the peaceful Hmong immigrants already here. Apparently us stupid white folk are naturally given to racist tendencies.

It's been said that one of the guys (shot in the back) was hurling racial remarks to the poor immigrant and stoked his rage. Apparently this justifies serial killing, by shooting people in the back no less.

It's also fascinating how this Laos immigrant has these two hot shot lawyers already defending him at his court date today. Wonder how much that cost the poor immigrant?

This is a story to watch folks... You know I will be.

Volunteers Anyone?

WASHINGTON (AP) - In setting limits on chemicals in food and water, the Environmental Protection Agency may rely on industry tests that expose people to poisons and raise ethical questions.

The new policy, which the EPA is still developing, would allow Bush administration political appointees to referee any ethical disputes. Agency officials are putting the finishing touches on a plan to take a case-by-case approach.

"It says we're going to look at each study on its individual terms and accept studies unless they are fundamentally unethical or have significant deficiencies," said Bill Jordan, a senior policy adviser in EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs. "We're setting the stage for making decisions about these studies. No guarantees that we will accept the data, and no guarantees that we will reject the data, either."

I always wanted an extra arm growing outta my head... how handy would that be? Thank you, I'm here all week folks... try the veal.

The Persecution of Steve Gardner

I heard Steve Gardner's first nationally broadcast interview the day he called "The Savage Nation". He had sucessfully laid low since the war and not mentioned anything he experienced but he was absolutely furious about how Kerry was exploiting his Vietnam service for political gain. The Swift Boat Vets for Truth soon heard of his story and recruited him to add his story to the many others who aligned against Kerry's run for the presidency. Gardner was different than almost all of the other Swift Boat Vets because he actually served as a gunner on the boat that Kerry commanded for Kerry's 4 short months in Vietnam. He had personal interactions with Kerry as a commander and couldn't in his right mind allow someone like John Kerry to be Commander in Chief after his personal experiences with him.

Now we see how standing up for the truth can destroy your life if you go head to head with people as powerful as those in the DNC. we reward those who stand up for the truth? Is this how we reward those who stick their neck out on the line to proclaim what they saw first hand? Sad indeed.

Poor Zarqawi cries for help

(click on picture for larger view)

Where's Allah when you need him?

The world's most dangerous terrorist, Abu Musab al Zarqawi, announced on Wednesday that the battle of Fallujah was a massive defeat for the Iraqi insurgency, blaming the debacle on Sunni Muslim clerics who failed to support his reign of terror.

"Hundreds of thousands of the nation's sons are being slaughtered at the hands of the infidels because of your silence," Zarqawi said in an audiotape posted on an Islamic Web site known as al-Qala'a, which has been a mailbox for Islamic militant groups.

"You have let us down in the darkest circumstances and handed us over to the enemy," the notorious mass murderer complained. "You have stopped supporting the holy warriors."

The finger-pointing tape from Zarqawi is the clearest indication yet that the U.S. offensive in Fallujah has been a massive success and could be the beginning of a rout for terrorist forces in Iraq.

Keep on rockin troops!

This makes our 2000 election look like childsplay

Have you noticed what's been going on in the Ukraine Presidential Elections this week? Yikes! Viktor Yushchenko, Viktor Yanukovich's opponent in the race for President of the Ukraine, seems as if his face is melting off!
Mystery Surrounds Yushchenko's Ailment.

Imagine this happening to your face in about 6 months!
Yikes... remind me to never run for office against a russian backed opponent!
Could this be a precursor to the splitting of the Ukraine into the East and the West?
We all know how well that worked out in Germany. What do you think the roll of the US is going to be coming down the pike... Colin Powell has already made no bones about the fact that this election is fraudulent. This will be fascinating to follow... could this lead to a Civil War?

Thankful for Thanksgiving

Anyone who knows me knows that there is no doubt in my mind body or soul about the existance of a Heavenly Family that bore our spirits and that we're here in this mortal realm inorder to gain this valuable experience and the lessons learned while mortal to use for our eternal progression and eventual exhaultation. Ok, done preachin'

The point was that I use the holiday of Thanksgiving to remind myself of these principals and to see the beauty in life in this eternal perspective. It helps keep me sane when the kids are going nuts while getting dinner prepared! But the basic beautiful premise of the holiday of thanksgiving is very nicely summed up here and are undeniable and objective truths. So God fearing or not, "Bible thumper" or "Christophobe" and everything in between, you can find thanks no matter what during this uniquely American holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

The Cradle of Liberty

"The Cradle of Liberty"...begins in each of our houses, besides each of our beds. Is sparked when we hit our knees and close our eyes and bow our head. When in acknowledgement of our Heavenly Father and acceptance of our humble beginnings and with the promise to live according to his Word is the inspiration of Freedom borne. When this simple action is missing from a community or society the inspiration of freedom fades away to myth hardening the hearts of those in the society.

I have many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving day. I will be sure to share them privately with my Heavenly Father at the end of this wonderful day. I am extremely blessed.

Happy Thanksgiving 2004 Everybody.

The Nationalist Party of America?

Is it now viable to organize an effective political third party in our current state of connectedness? We now have the ability to have a say with what happens with any of our representatives from the comfort of our office chairs. I'm game. I know that in the current two party system the only times I actually feel "represented" is when the opposition party is in power and our representatives actually stand up for our values by ranting at the opposition's leader. I'll be interested to see if the so called republican party will be willing to stick to their guns now that they occupy more power accumulated by any political party in several decades. Will they shy away from the conservative principals that got them elected now that the hot washington spotlights and snotty liberal journalist's cameras have them in their crosshairs for the next four years...

I'm beginning to think that now is most likely the best time to create THE NATIONALIST PARTY OF AMERICA.

Why not... do you think you have any say in how the republican party will now behave with this newfound grip on power? Time will tell... and so will I.

We are living in historic times.

I wonder if we'll ever truly grasp in our lifetimes how amazing the times we are currently living in actually are. I read an amazing paper written by an awesome historian and writer Victor David Hanson called "The Real Humanists". It drives home the fact that the modern day "liberals" no longer live up to thier name. Instead they've done as much as possible to obsruct the movement of true liberalism. If you read anything from this article, at least read the exerpt I've included below. Very well done.

"We are living in historic times, as all the landmarks of the past half-century are in the midst of passing away. The old left-wing critique is in shambles — as the United States is proving to be the most radical engine for world democratic change and liberalization of the age. A reactionary Old Europe, in concert with the ossified American leftist elite, unleashed everything within its ample cultural arsenal: novels, plays, and op-ed columns calling for the assassination of President Bush; propaganda documentaries reminiscent of the oeuvre of Pravda or Leni Riefenstahl; and transparent bias passed off as front-page news and lead-ins on the evening network news.

Germany and France threw away their historic special relationships with America, while billions in Eastern Europe, India, Russia, China, and Japan either approved of our efforts or at least kept silent. Who would have believed 60 years ago that the great critics of democracy in the Middle East would now be American novelists and European utopians, while Indians, Poles, and Japanese were supporting those who just wanted the chance to vote? Who would have thought that a young Marine from the suburbs of Topeka battling the Dark Ages in Fallujah — the real humanist — was doing more to aid the planet than all the billions of the U.N.?

Those on the left who are ignorant of history lectured the Bush administration that democracy has never come as a result of the threat of conflict or outright war — apparently the creation of a democratic United States, Germany, Japan, Italy, Israel, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Serbia, and Afghanistan was proof of the power of mere talk. In contrast, the old realist Right warned that strongmen are our best bet to ensure stability — as if Saudi Arabia and Egypt have been loyal allies with content and stable pro-American citizenries. In truth, George Bush's radical efforts to cleanse the world of the Taliban and Saddam Hussein, bring democracy to the heart of the Arab world, and isolate Yasser Arafat were the most risky and humane developments in the Middle East in a century — old-fashioned idealism backed with force in a postmodern age of abject cynicism and nihilism.

Quite literally, we are living in the strangest, most perilous, and unbelievable decade in modern memory."

Where have the true Liberals gone?

Get the UN out of the US

Don't you think it's about time?
Ask yourself... what has the United Nations actually done that has made the world any safer... Yet we allow them to live the life of luxury in NYC solely because they are lifetime bureaucrats. Time to kick their beehinds out of our country, especially considering the fact that they have done nothing but obstruct our ability to protect ourselves. Why have we allowed these thugs safe haven here as they spend their careers attempting to destroy our soverenty?

Let these schmucks go to the city they'd truly fit in... Paris.

    "Judgementalism"

What I want to know is, what is so wrong with being judgemental? I ask this because a person very close to me expressed to me in a phone call that they were very worried that I'd be too judgemental to meet their significant other solely because I'm someone who has strong principals and have no fear expressing them. Why is the term 'judgemental' perpetually tied with being "mean"? I reassured this individual that yeah, I reserve the right to make my own judgements but I'm going to be nothing but polite and cordial with this person while face to face. Despite making this distinction they were not convinced that I did not have the capability to not be mean to this individual. Not one person who truly knows me would ever classify me as being someone who is mean; quite the contrary. I freely admit that I am someone who has sound and strong principals and all who know me well know this and respect my perspective, even to the point being fascinated to know what I think on a variety of subjects. Unfortunately this manufactured fear of "judgementalism" tends to tie this notion with enough fear for them to feel the need to shield their significant other from me.

Is there some insecurity here that exists because they know deep down inside that they live an immoral lifestyle? Perhaps.

This designates a significant shift in a collective perspective we have as a country where those who have deep and strong principals are automatically considered mean or ignorant. Does this not display the brainwashing we've undergone as a society that living particular (especially Biblical) principals makes one intolerable? Has moral relativism won out as a foundation of thought over living a life of virtue?

It sounds to me like the assumptions that this person made defines judgementalism. The fact that I confidently exude conservative principals, and have no qualms expressing these principals, automatically means that I'll be mean or 'intolerant'. Can somebody explain how these are automatically inter-twined? Has it all of a sudden become a bad thing to have biblical standards that are applied to one's own life? Sure seems so and that breaks my heart.

Judging by how people wrote and lived in generations past I've noticed a significant shift to the secular in our society, not to mention a significant loss of perspective that made our country great (and dare I say morally superior) over secular thought.

How intolerant and judgemental of me! Perhaps I'll just keep my mouth shut from now on... yeah right.

    Arafat's Legacy

The world media portrays Yasser Arafat as a kindly George Washington of the Palestinian people. The real Arafat is a blood-thirsty Ghoul. He Pioneered airline high- jacking's, and he was the god father of terror. Whole villages of Christians were massacred under his command in Lebanon. His P.L.O. conducted many cowardly campaigns of murder. Perhaps the best known, in 1972, when 5 Arab terrorists entered the Olympic Village in Munich Germany, and Slaughtered 11 unarmed Israeli athletes in cold blood. This beast must not be glorified! To the side, you will find a portrait of the real Yasser Arafat. A man courted by the Democrats and shunned by Republicans. Now do you know why God smiles on George Bush?

    Hillary's Campaign begins

Now we'll see how Hillary will begin to redefine herself. I guarantee that she will redefine herself by taking conservative stances on the most important of issues. These include defense, the war against terrorism, and perhaps even fiscal issues. Why would she do this? Because she is the most schrewd of politicians the United States have ever seen and if she's learned anything in her time as an elected official it is that the American people are by and large conservatives. I'll make the prediction now that there is no way that she can win because of her iffy past. Much like the past that Kerry tried to cover up as evidenced by the clever marketing campaign that he ran in the last 6 months of the 2004 election to redefine himself and hide from the policies he supported over the last 2 decades as a US senator. Hillary will probably figgure that if she spends the next four years redefining herself she'll shore up a bit more credibility. The only real albatros in her way is her Senate reelection campaign in 2006... that is if she decides to run. I would not be suprised to see her bow out of that race because of the problems it may present to her Presidential campaign should she lose to someone like Gulianni. Naturally this decision will be spun every which way possible to shed her in a magnanimous light and portray her as taking the 'high road'.

It'll be a truly interesting political maneuver to watch take place. The question now remains... who on the Republican ticket will take her on? Hmmm... there is still much up in the air... What do you think?

    Divided Nation?

Are we actually a nation divided as the media would so love us to believe? Do you actually hate those who voted for an opposition candidate? I doubt it... And I'm getting sick of hearing how divided we are as a Nation. I don't buy it.

You know what real division is? Lets put this in some historical perspective. The Civil War... that is the defination of a nation divided. Are we all ready to take up arms and declare war on our neighboors? Of course not. Did you know that only 30 percent of the nation was in support of declaring Independence from Britain? Or that far less than half of the country was for getting involved in World War II?

Now here we have a presidential candidate who was very straightforward on his stances and we all had the opportunity to say Yay or Nay. The nation has spoken and the decision was remarkably strong. Not many presidential candidates have even gotten over 50% of the popular vote in American History. But here we have the highest vote tabulation in history for one man.

I own up to the prediction I made that Bush would win by at least 5 percentage points and that he "only" won by three. That nevertheless is cause to claim a mandate.

Does that mean there's no cultural war? Not necessarily. But isn't that the Beauty of America? The ability to hash out cultural issues at the ballot box and allow the victorious point of view to prevail for at least the term of the candidate involved? It does. And we have Bush for four more years.

If he screws up, we'll vote in the other party's candidate next cycle. What I'm fearing is the media's manipulation in politics. How they shape your opinions by what stories they intend to tell you about and the stories that are buried... not to mention how they decide to display the current news story.

Thankfully for us all we now live in the midst of a media revolution where the mainstream no longer shapes the majority of the public opinion as shown in this last election. New outlets provide more accountability for what's spoon fed us for information by the network channels. We have to decide who's more credible... that takes work and a dedication to know the issues and have a stand on those issues as shaped by the information we receive.

Where will you stand? Do you commit yourself to knowing the issues to better decide on the direction this country takes? Or are you gonna put your hat on backwards and root for the most exciting sporting franchise while ignoring the cultural war around us. It's up to you... read... read... then read some more.

Hopefully I can provide provocative reading material...

    Love to you all...
