Thankful for Thanksgiving
Anyone who knows me knows that there is no doubt in my mind body or soul about the existance of a Heavenly Family that bore our spirits and that we're here in this mortal realm inorder to gain this valuable experience and the lessons learned while mortal to use for our eternal progression and eventual exhaultation. Ok, done preachin'
The point was that I use the holiday of Thanksgiving to remind myself of these principals and to see the beauty in life in this eternal perspective. It helps keep me sane when the kids are going nuts while getting dinner prepared! But the basic beautiful premise of the holiday of thanksgiving is very nicely summed up here and are undeniable and objective truths. So God fearing or not, "Bible thumper" or "Christophobe" and everything in between, you can find thanks no matter what during this uniquely American holiday.
