"Kofi's True Colors"

UPDATE 3-26: Depressed Annan close to quitting over UN scandals

Seems like the gig is up Kofi... someone's feelin some heat right about now...
Buwaaahahahah...

"KOFI ANNAN, the United Nations secretary-general, is said to be struggling with depression and considering his future. Colleagues have reported concerns about Annan ahead of an official report this week that will examine his son Kojo’s connection to the controversial Iraqi oil for food scheme".

Yet another brilliant move by the great Kofi. Proof of his insanity:
From the NY Post:
March 16, 2005 -- Aren't diplomats supposed to have tact? Kofi Annan, secretary-general of the United Nations and someone who should have some sensitivity, clearly needs sensitivity training.
As part of his trip to Israel to attend the opening ceremonies for the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial's new museum in Jerusalem, Annan on Monday went to the grave of Yasser Arafat in Ramallah, and laid a wreath of flowers on the tomb.

So let's get this straight: Annan travels to the Jewish state to attend a ceremony for a museum that commemorates Jewish victims of mass murder, and a day earlier — maybe to be evenhanded? — he pays his respects at . . . the grave of a mass murderer of Jews?

It was one thing when Arafat was alive and most every diplomat and political leader who visited the region went to pay their respects to the Palestinian chairman. (Even then, some chose to isolate and ignore him these last few years — realizing that Arafat was still nothing more than a terrorist thug.)

And yet, now that he's dead and buried and everyone else has moved on — the Palestinians not least — Annan still has to pay his respects.

Kofi clearly doesn't forget his friends.

And no one who wants an impartial chief at the U.N. should forget this affair.

Tell it Like it is!

Now here is a guy I was excited to vote for as my state Senator!
Jim Gibbons represents us Red Blooded Americans who are sick of the filthy hollywood mindset being relentlessly pumped into young skulls full o'mush.

Gibbons, a possible Republican contender for governor [of Nevada] in 2006, made the remarks at a Lincoln Day dinner Friday in Elko, according to the Elko Daily Free Press.

While praising the efforts of American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, Gibbons accused liberals, movie stars and song makers of "trying to divide this country."

God forbid he state a fact! But much to my delight he elucidates further...
"I say we tell those liberal, tree-hugging, Birkenstock-wearing, hippie, tie-dyed liberals to go make their movies and their music and whine somewhere else," he said.

He added it was "too damn bad we didn't buy them a ticket" to become human shields in Iraq.

Now, before you fly off the handle and assume that he's just some right wing nut job...
Gibbons, a combat pilot veteran of the Vietnam and Persian Gulf wars, said "Hollywood established a climate that made our returning troops feel ostracized" during the Vietnam War.

"I see similar actions on the part of some members of the entertainment community today," he told the Reno Gazette-Journal. "Today, such efforts to break our resolve in Iraq are also used to inspire the insurgents to continue their assault.
"

This alone gives him the credibility he needs to stand behind his point despite the heat that pinhead lawyers *ahem* Democrats in the State Senate plan on applying to him. He's deserved the right to say it how he sees it and we have a right to vote for this man as our next Governor of the GREAT state of Nevada in 2006.

Run Jim Run!!! You've earned my vote tonight!
Oh, as a sidenote, see if you can tell the democrats from the republicans seated in the chamber in the picture above. Quite obvious eh?
