Me Immigrant, You Racist...

After you click on the picture and check out the amazing photos taken, check out the title of this little diddy:

Migrants awarded vigilante's Ariz. ranch

Obviously some poor abused 'miiiiiiiiiigrants' can better manage the land owned by an evil vigilante.

Apparently allowing a safe portal on the border for all manner of humanity to enter without scrutiny is preferrable to a racist "American" who takes pride in his land ownership.

Besides, it was their's first eh? Sounds like time to evacuate the states of Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, California... a'la the Gaza Strip... and wherever else for the sake of appeasing pooooooooooooor miiiiiiiigrants.
(Who make up over a third of our federal jail population)

Lets consider the source:

Case Closed.

Wait the obligatory 20 minutes after eating before reading this article to avoid regurgitation.
DOUGLAS - Spent shells litter the ground at what is left of the firing range, and camouflage outfits still hang in a storeroom. Just a few months ago, this ranch was known as Camp Thunderbird, the headquarters of a paramilitary group that vowed to use force to keep illegal immigrants from sneaking across the border from Mexico.

Now, the 70-acre property about two miles from the border is being given to two immigrants the group caught trying to enter the United States illegally.

The land transfer satisfies judgments in a lawsuit in which the immigrants had claimed that Casey Nethercott, the owner of the ranch and a former leader of the vigilante group Ranch Rescue, had harmed them.
Had 'harmed' them? Exactly how? Oh, he must have knocked the English outta him/her/whoever rendering them speechless.

Now for the brilliant statement from a scumbag lawyer:
"Certainly it's poetic justice that these undocumented workers own this land," said Morris S. Dees Jr., chief trial counsel of the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Ala., which represented the immigrants.
Oh man, one of the veins in my eye just exploded...

What the hell is this schmuck from Alabama doing involved in this case?

Obviously he considers himself an expert because Alabama borders states full of racists from Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee!

Ok you Alabama Bloggers, time to raise some hell at the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery. This is out of control.

Well, nevermind... unless you're a poor oppressed illegal, you won't be heard.

The immigrants getting the ranch, Edwin Alfredo Mancia Gonzales and Fatima Del Socorro Leiva Medina, could not be reached for comment. Kelley Bruner, a lawyer at the law center, said they were happy.

Bruner said that Mancia and Leiva, from El Salvador but not related, would not live at the ranch and would probably sell it. Nethercott bought the ranch in 2003 for $120,000.

Mancia, who lives in Los Angeles, and Leiva, who lives in the Dallas area, have applied for visas available to immigrants who are the victims of certain crimes, Bruner said. Until a decision is made on their applications, they can stay and work in the United States.
Cha-freakin-Ching, they just won the lottery while breaking the law!

This is nothing more than a big ole sign to the illegals screaming, come'on over whoever you are and here's what you say when you get here;

'I immigrant, you racist, I sue, ACLU'
(thanks Savage)
Bill Dore, a Douglas resident briefly affiliated with Ranch Rescue and still active in the border-patrolling Minuteman Project, called the land transfer "ridiculous."

"The illegals are coming over here," Dore said. "They are getting the American property. Hell, I'd come over, too. Get some American property, make some money from the gringos."
Hell, why not?

Perhaps this admission will land me in Guantanamo Bay or something but if each night I was gathering up bus loads of illegals as they crossed my front yard, I'd most likely do something about it.

Eventually I'd come across someone who thought they had a pair and that they deserve the right to run all over MY property... they'd be promply shut up and shut down. Insensitive? You bet'cha.

Apparently this tactic will land you in jail for 5 years and have your land SEIZED!! Especially if guns are involved.

WTF is going on in this country?!?! My head hurts.

Check out these award winning photos by Mike Kane documenting this story.

Linked with Basil's Blog- Lunch 8/19 and My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, also the Mudville Gazette and Outside the Beltway as well as Indepundit.

I'd say they just opened the door wide for lots more illegals thinking "hey, nice place you got here...I'VE BEEN ABUSED!!!"

Read this earlier, actually had to wait awhile to comment in order to do so politely.

No matter whether or not a crime was committed and punishment given appropriately, awarding the ranch to illegal aliens is so wrong on so many different levels that it is difficult to even formulate a coherent sentence on the topic.

A good read, I'll spread it around through email, thanks.

What a fantastic idea. Give land on the border to illegal aliens. Then they can tell all their freinds, come on over, just cross the border on my property. Then we can have a bbq. It'll be fun.

Thanks for posting a link to the story. I really was confused as to how this land transfer could legally have occured. Now I know it was thru an uncontested civil suit rather than a criminal one. Why didn't Nethercott defend himself? There must be some anti-ACLU group that would have helped.

Why is it whenever someone who is not an American citizen has something happen to him or her, usually when they are breaking one of our laws they call fowl or abuse and some idiot lawyer jumps to defend them under our (American) civil rights. They are not American! They should not be able to use our legal system this way. Yet when something happens to an American over seas (their fault or not) tuff luck. Our legal system is Ass backwards. Let them come to America heck we are all immigrants except for Native Americans, but come the right way.
