#3 Huskies vs #20 Orangemen

I've been looking forward to this game all season long.

Hall of Famer Jim Boeheim vs Hall of Famer Jim Calhoun!

It's Gerry McNamara time baby... droppin them threes!!

The only remaining senior and former team member of Carmello Anthony when Syracuse won the Championship over Kansas 3 years ago he is a ton of fun to watch slash all over the court dropping awkward three pointers all over the place!

GO ORANGEMEN!!!!
(no overtime please, 24 starts at 8pm)

UPDATE: (6:30pm) Arrrrrgggghhhh Kansas vs Mizzou is in overtime cutting into my game!!!

UPDATE: (7:00pm) OMG, as soon as the game goes national (and my blood pressure drops) SU was down by 4... UConn proceeds to go on a 19-0 run... (blood pressure rises to previous levels)

...SU goes into halftime down by 20 (with 12 turnovers!!)
This is a nightmare! Why do I do this to myself??

UPDATE: (7:50pm) down 17 with 8 minutes to go... I don't think I have to worry about overtime tonight...

UPDATE: (8pm) SU has got the deficit down to 10 points with just over 3 minutes to go...

UPDATE: SU loses by 8 but never had a chance.

G Mac only hit 2 of 8 three pointers as UConn dominated defensively as they shut him down.

UConn played flawless basketball and Syracuse got a good spanking. After SU won 12 in a row, a game like this was bound to happen. It will only help them as they prepare to play an awesome Villanova team on the 21st.

Hey, it was either blog about it, getting energy out through the ole fingertips, or yell and scream at my TV.

Now it's time to watch Jack Bauer save America and make me feel better after that heartbreak.

If we're going to talk sports, then I feel compelled to bring up this year's Rose Bowl. Oh what the heck, let's talk about the last TWO rose bowls.

And yes I'm going to look for every opportunity to bring that up for the rest of this calendar year. Maybe longer.

Vince Young just upped his NFL stock through the freaking roof with his last two Rose Bowl performances...

Gloat all you want, it's been earned!
